Not like I like the new song anyway.  I think it’s complete and utter crap…. But wait, maybe I should hold my typing before their manager will come and sucker punch me?

Really, I have to side with Perez Hilton here — this all started because he didn’t like the new B.E.P single.  Does anyone really like the new B.E.P single?  And this, from the guy who loved Fergie’s terrible solo album.  He gets sucker punched?  Are you serious?

I’m, personally, convinced it was a hate-crime.  If Perez really called Will.i.Am a faggot (which I wouldn’t doubt, sounds like a Perez-ish thing to do), and that set Will.i.Am off, well, I’d have to say it was a hate crime.  Though it seems he has a short fuse for getting all up in someone’s face over whether or not they personally like a song.

Music isn’t always about talent.  There are a lot of talented individuals I just don’t care for.  I just don’t see really any talent in what B.E.P does.  Is it catchy?  Sure.  But I’ll never pay to go see them live, or buy a CD.  If it’s on at the bar, or in the car (or in a Dr. Seuss book), then well, I’ll listen to it.  But otherwise I just don’t care.

Fact is, I’m disappointed that someone would behave in such a manner.  Guess what?  Worse things have been written about these people in the tabloids, not whether or not the single was any freaking good.  Maybe they should worry more about that than someone’s personal music preferences and choices.  We’re all entitled to them, and throwing a tissy over it only makes you look stupid.

Black Eyed Peas should behave like role models, many young people look up to them, and their behavior is unacceptable.  While I appreciate what Perez does, and often find his posts funny, I don’t think he would be considered much of a role model to speak of, and people only get offended if he says something about someone they like.  He hasn’t caused any injury by way of a gossip column like that that can be done with a fist.

Thus, I’m boycotting the B.E.P.  I plan on changing the radio station if their new song comes on, and politely excusing myself to the restroom at the bar.  I won’t buy a CD, a single, or bother watching them on television.  Not that I’ve ever bought a CD or single anyway.  I just won’t be rushing out to do so now.

Or blogging about them again.  Unless Will.i.Am posts a public apology about the actions of his “posse.”  Regardless of Perez saying he was a faggot, that is not a reason to hit someone.  I’m sure he gets called a faggot all the time, and you don’t hear about him coming around from behind to sucker punch someone!  What a great role model for children.  Ah, violence is the answer everyone!  I was so completely unaware, but Will.i.Am has shown me the light!

Why the hell can’t adults behave like adults?

fergie-losing-hair-240tp041609I feel compelled to post this as a hair stylist.

Is Fergie losing her hair?  This question has been arising over the television and internet like crazy, and honestly I can hardly believe anyone is questioning it.

As anyone who pays attention to celeb-news has heard this one within the last 24 hours, there’s all this speculation that Fergie-Ferg (singer for the Black Eyed Peas, married to Josh Duhamel), is going bald.

True or false?

Obviously this rumor is immensely false.  Fergie is a natural blonde, and went to a deep mahagony brown.  All of us ladies who color our hair take notice to when our regrowth is showing, and that’s all that is happening to hers — the same thing that happens to all of us — her hair is growing.  Not falling out.

Since she is a natural blonde, it does appear close to skin color, giving it the appearance that she has no hair atop of her head.  Rest assured, it’s just growing out and she’s behind on a trip to her stylist!

Don’t let this deter you blondes from going dark for whatever occasion.  Hair color is a great way to express yourself, with relatively simple upkeep.  From going to a light to dark color, I would recommend every 3-4 weeks getting a simple regrowth touch up (with a full color touch up with demi permanent color to keep the ends fresh every other visit).  Going lighter?  Every 4-6 weeks usually will suffice, depending on how fast your hair grows (and how much lighter you’re going than your natural color).
