I’m not going to lie, I’m slightly amused that while I googled silica microspheres I was on the first page of hit results!  Possibly a little excited as well, I really appreciate those of you that have supported this blog and the research I’ve provided — you have no idea how happy I am that I have helped some of you, and relieved others regarding the use of silica microspheres as a cosmetic!

I’ve decided to take it a step further, readers, and link some places that sell silica microspheres.  I understand there’s a lot of drama surrounding Coastal Scents right now, and I’ll be completely honest to being ignorant (no pun intended) regarding what ever is going on.  I’m not taking sides in a battle I wasn’t aware of, and my previous post was really irrelevant to Coastal Scents.  Just to the use of silica microspheres as a whole!

So far the best ground and smallest I’ve found in comparison to Make Up For Ever HD powder is at TKB Trading.  They do have a minimum purchase of about $21, but with all their options on the website it’s extremely easy to make that minimum! Plus, their shipping is very affordable. The microspheres do come in a baggie, so I recommend getting a sifter jar from them to add to the order to put your microspheres in. If I may recommend, a larger one for at home, and a tiny one for your purse!

Soap & More also sells silica microspheres; it is slightly more expensive than TKB Trading and Coastal Scents. I’ve never done business with them before, but they sure do sell a lot of ingredients to make your own cosmetics/soaps on there!

And of course, I have to put it (sorry for those who do not support this company), Coastal Scents. They do not have a minimum order, which is very nice. Again, this comes in a jar with no sifter — I really do recommend getting the sifter jar!

Those are the most reputable sites I found where you can easily access the silica microspheres. Again, I love the TKB trading because they have smaller molecules more like the Make Up For Ever, but they do have the minimum order. Otherwise, the other two are just fine, very affordable options — most people don’t even see (or feel!) a difference.
